New Updates to Help You Capture Smarter, See More, and Decide Faster

One thing we hear time and time again from producers is this: good data is only useful if it’s easy to access and even easier to understand.

That’s where this latest release comes in.

We’ve focused on removing friction - in how data gets into the system, how you interact with it, and how you turn it into something meaningful for your operation.

Making data capture part of the everyday

Let’s start at the front end.

More data files are now being imported directly via email. That might sound simple, but it’s a big shift. No more chasing files or manual uploads - just send them through, and they’re on their way into your system.

We’re also continuing to expand integrations with feedlots and abattoirs. So if you start sending cattle somewhere new and it’s not set up yet, that’s not a roadblock - it’s a quick fix. Just let us know, and we’ll get it sorted.

Because at the end of the day, data capture shouldn’t slow you down. It should happen in the background while you get on with the job.

Clarity where it counts

Once the data’s in, the next challenge is making sense of it.

That’s why we’ve made a few simple but important improvements to the dashboard.

Ever had that moment where something doesn’t look quite right… only to realise there’s a filter buried somewhere? That’s now a thing of the past. You can clear everything in one go and get back to a clean view instantly.

We’ve also added clearer visibility around where animals are heading next. On the Growing Performance view, you can now see exit pathways at a glance - whether cattle are moving into the breeding herd, heading to the feedlot, or being sold.

So what does that mean for producers? Less second-guessing, and more confidence in what you’re seeing.

Turning data into decisions

But where things really get interesting is in how producers are using their data.

We’ve been working closely with clients to build custom reports that reflect the way their businesses actually run. Not generic outputs - but targeted insights, delivered when they’re needed.

And the results speak for themselves.

Producers are now:

  • Comparing the performance of trade cattle against home-bred animals

  • Tracking monthly performance trends without the manual effort

  • Identifying missing animals and EIDs before they become bigger issues

  • Understanding sire and dam performance across progeny groups

  • Making sense of feedlot and carcase feedback in one place

  • Following where progeny end up — whether that’s bulls, breeders, or steers

  • Pulling together clear paddock-level summaries

It’s not just good data. It’s good business.

Because when you can see what’s working (and what’s not), you can act sooner, plan better, and ultimately improve both productivity and profitability.

The takeaway

This release isn’t about adding more features for the sake of it.

It’s about making the system work harder for you; quietly in the background, but delivering clearer answers when you need them.

Less time handling data. More time making decisions.

And that’s where real value sits.
