Having grown up on her family’s mixed farming and cattle property in South-West Queensland, Edwina Warby has always had a love for the agricultural industry. 

After working as an accountant for the six years in the private sector, Edwina set her sights on returning to agriculture and completed a Bachelor of Agribusiness at Marcus Oldham College. Shortly after, in 2021, she joined Black Box Co as Senior Client Manager.

A day in Edwina’s life at Black Box has her working collaboratively with clients right across the supply chain to achieve their KPIs and data collection objectives, and onboarding new clients who are keen to get started with Black Box to take their herd performance to the next level. 

Black Box is unique in that the entire sales and support team are born and bred in the beef sector. Edwina particularly enjoys that her role allows her to work with like-minded people, who share her love for the livestock industry, and says it feels like she is an employee of hundreds of different beef businesses from breeding operations, to feedlots and processors, helping them to achieve improved performance through the Black Box software service. She is excited to continue building brand awareness for Black Box, and expand its client base across southern-Australia, with a focus on building a more sustainable and productive beef industry.
